So in AP Studio, the teacher gave us assignments at first, which really frustrated all the students because we thought that in this class we'd have unlimited freedom and we'd be allowed to make mistakes and screw ourselves over come May. First two projects were quite fun, third one was tedious. Then! Ms. Rogers gave us "unlimited freedom!"
Now we have free choice projects and everyone is falling behind. Perhaps assignments aren't such a bad idea... Honestly, we're supposed to be done with two free choice projects and starting on our third next week. Like that's gonna happen.
I spent a week painting a gumball machine with watercolors and got pissed off and threw the damned thing away. So now I'm behind one project.
Here's the project I'm actually working on...
Lawl, it's a portrait of my brother in his aviators, with.... color pencils? I'm really digging my own grave. The thing is like 20x30 at least (guesstimation).
I'm thinking about giving watercolors another try or acrylics next. Whatevs, I'm really behind...
Anime/Manga-wise, I haven't drawn a thing. Perhaps it's art block, perhaps I'm outgrowing it. I simply don't have time at the moment. Sometimes my hands crave to draw and doodle, but I always have to read another chapter in that horrendous AP Bio textbook (genetics&mendelism test Tuesday) or finish AP Studio work (which I never get done). And now it's college app time.
And I need to send in my UC apps tomorrow!
